DVD and CD Encoding
▪Liticorp uses top-quality, professional Optibase encoders for both MPEG-2
(DVD) Video and MPEG-1 (CD).
▪Each DVD order comes with two disks: one authored DVD with
chapter points for playback in a set-top or software-based DVD player, and a second disk containing the raw MPEG-2 file.
▪Each CD-ROM order comes with one disk which contains a raw MPEG-1 file, playable in all computer-based media players.
▪The raw MPEG-2 and MPEG-1 files can be used with Windows Media Player and trial presentation applications such as Sanction II,TrialDirector and TrialPro.
Format and International Standards Conversion
▪ There are three major standards used in different regions
throughout the world, all equally incompatible. We can convert to and from NTSC (Americas),
PAL (Europe), and SECAM (Asia).
▪ Liticorp can cross-convert DV, DVCAM, DVC, S-VHS, VHS, 8mm,
Hi8, D8, among others.
